Mobile fingerprinting appointments in Rwanda are now open for requests ahead of Globeia’s service launch. A trained associate will visit your preferred location in Kigali, prioritising Kacyiru, Kimihurura, Nyarutarama, and Remera.

Visits to Musanze, Rubavu, Huye, and other regions can be arranged. Services cover FBI, RCMP, and other international police checks, with submission and apostille coordination through Globeia’s U.S. and Canadian operations.

We bring fingerprinting to your home, office, or hotel rather than asking you to visit a counter. Initial appointments will focus on Kigali, including Kacyiru, Kimihurura, Nyarutarama, Remera, and Kicukiro. Nyamata, Rwamagana, Nyagatare, Musanze, Kinigi, Rubavu, Karongi, Rusizi, Muhanga, and Huye can be covered by arrangement. Any applicable travel fee is confirmed in writing beforehand.

Three questions to ask any fingerprinting provider

The answers tell you whether your file will be done to the authority's rules, or to nobody's.

  1. Who submits my fingerprints to the RCMP from Rwanda, and is that company on the RCMP's accredited list?

    Globeia Incorporated in Toronto is on the list and submits your C-216C electronically to CCRTIS from inside Canada, once the form taken in Rwanda reaches it by tracked courier.

  2. Will the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration take the certificate in English, and who orders the apostille?

    Usually in English, and our own offices order the apostille English documents are generally accepted in Rwanda, so most files need only the U.S. Department of State apostille or the Global Affairs Canada apostille. If the office handling your application asks for a translation, we arrange it in the same file.

  3. Who will actually take my fingerprints in Rwanda?

    A trained Globeia associate visits your home, office or hotel, first in Kigali, Kacyiru, Kimihurura and Nyarutarama, checks your face against your government ID and reviews every impression before the card leaves. While we launch, each visit is confirmed in writing, with its date and estimate, before you pay.

A fingerprint card taken without reference to the authority's standards is just ink on paper: the wrong card stock, a missing rolled impression or an empty "taken by" box, and the application comes back weeks later. Our associates are trained on exactly those criteria.

What happens before and during the visit, so there are no surprises

Clients often tell us they want to know exactly what will happen before they book. Here it is, step by step.

Before the visit
  1. 1Confirmation by email with your associate's name, the arrival window and what to prepare: two forms of identification and a table to work at.
  2. 2A reminder the day before, with a direct contact for the associate on the day.
  3. 3Change the time if you need to. We ask only for reasonable notice; the terms are in your confirmation.

  2. 2Identity check. Passport or residence card, plus a Face ID match.
  3. 3Fingerprinting on the correct card. Each impression is checked on the spot and retaken if needed, at no extra charge.

RCMP Accreditation & Processing Disclaimer

RCMP accreditation is held exclusively by Globeia Incorporated in Toronto, Canada. Globeia in Rwanda is not RCMP-accredited, and Globeia is not endorsed by the RCMP, the FBI, FINRA, or any government authority. Fingerprints for the RCMP Criminal Record Check are collected in ink on the official C-216C form and mailed to Globeia Incorporated in Toronto, which submits them to the RCMP. All Criminal Record Checks, FBI Identity History Summaries and regulatory results are issued directly by the respective authority, not Globeia.

One clearance, two ways to get it

    Eric now has to find someone in Canada to obtain the Global Affairs Canada apostille and post the original again.

    The certificate is in English, which the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration usually accepts, but the clock has kept running.

    Finally files.
