One missed requirement can set the process back
- Week 1Luca books a fingerprinting appointment.
He has his fingerprints taken on an FD-258 card for his FBI check.
- Week 3He realizes the RCMP form is missing.
The RCMP Criminal Record Check requires a C-216C card. Luca now needs to arrange another fingerprinting appointment.
- Week 9Results arrive out of sync.
The two FBI Background Check results are back. The Canadian ones are still on their way from Ottawa.
- Week 36One result too old.
UKVI requires certificates issued in the last six months. Luca's is no longer valid.
- Week 42School start missed.
Five appointments, four couriers, and Giulia's start date moved from September to January.
One appointment in Rome, all four cards checked
- Day 1Luca completes both cards at home.
The required FD-258 and C-216C cards are completed at his Rome address, with every impression checked.
- Week 1Each card reaches the right office.
The FD-258 cards are coordinated with Globeia Inc. in the USA, while Globeia Incorporated handles the C-216C submission through the RCMP-accredited route.
- Week 3All four cards on one screen.
Luca and Giulia follow their progress in SmartPortal on the same screen.
- Week 6Results arrive together.
All four certificates arrive within days, in English, which UKVI accepts.
- Week 7Visas filed together.
One invoice. Both sets of certificates are well within the six-month limit.
