You have to complete the online SmartForm providing all details requested, like the purpose of the check and the destination country. Choose a convenient time and location for the mobile visit. Before confirmation, you’ll undergo a Face ID verification to confirm your identity.

Step 2: On-Site Fingerprint Collection

A trained Globeia associate arrives at your location fully equipped with the necessary kits and fingerprint cards: FD-258 or FD-1164 for FBI background checks and C216C or equivalent for RCMP criminal record checks. Keep two government IDs handy, like passport or driver’s license, as your identity will be verified by the associates using these documents.

Step 3: Fingerprint Quality Checks and Review

The associate reviews every impression on the spot for ridge clarity and completeness. They aim for maximum accuracy, compliant to international acceptance standards, re-rolling prints immediately if any smudge or light ink is detected.

Step 4: Letter of Identity Verification

Globeia does not submit to FINRA- submission is the responsibility of your sponsoring firm.

Swiss police stations and cantonal authorities handle fingerprinting for Swiss domestic purposes only. They do not stock international fingerprint cards such as the FD-258/ FD-1164 or C-216C and are not trained in international submission standards. Globeia associates arrive at your location in Geneva with the correct official cards for your specific requirement and conduct an on-site quality review before the appointment closes.

An apostille must be obtained in the country that issued the document. For RCMP criminal record checks, apostille is coordinated through Global Affairs Canada. For FBI Identity History Summaries, apostille is coordinated through the US Department of State.
