Separate Zurich appointments and results that never line up
- Week 1First appointment in Zurich.
Lukas has his fingerprints taken near Paradeplatz, but the provider only prepares the FBI form. He still needs the C-216C for his RCMP check.
- Week 3Back for the Canadian prints.
He books another appointment in Oerlikon, taking more time away from work to complete the second fingerprint card.
- Week 10One result arrives first.
Lukas receives his FBI Background Check, while his RCMP Criminal Record Check is still being processed.
- Week 36The timing becomes a problem.
His FBI result is now too old for the New Zealand application, so Lukas has to arrange another check.
- Week 40The application finally moves forward.
Another fingerprint appointment, another submission and months of follow-up push his New Zealand relocation plans back.
One Zurich visit, both sets of prints
- Day 1Fingerprints captured together in Wollishofen.
Our associate takes one FD-258 and one C-216C in one visit, and checks both before leaving.
- Week 1Two cards, two offices.
The FD-258 goes to our U.S. office, and the C-216C goes to Toronto.
- Week 3One view in the portal.
Lukas can track both clearance processes through Globeia SmartPortal.
- Week 6Both clearances in hand.
Lukas receives his FBI and RCMP results as they become available for his New Zealand application.
- Final stageFiled while current.
One coordinated file. Lukas can submit both clearances with his New Zealand application.
