Yes. FINRA requires rolled ink fingerprints on a FINRA-approved card from applicants based outside the U.S. Living in Spain on a Digital Nomad Visa or any other residency permit does not change this.

Generic Spanish biometric services are designed for domestic or EU purposes and are not trained in U.S. regulatory fingerprinting requirements. They typically do not carry FINRA-approved cards. Using an untrained provider thereby increases your rejection risk. Globeia's technicians are specifically trained in FINRA-compliant rolled ink capture.

A valid government-issued photo ID is required. Accepted documents include your passport or NIE card. Have it ready when the technician arrives.
